City Wind Books

Named as a tribute to City Lights Bookstore, where San Francisco has its light, Kaohsiung has its wind.

We believe a bookstore is a place where ideas circulate and urban culture takes shape. We hope every visitor arrives carried by the wind, and leaves fulfilled.

Located on the 7th floor of TAi Urban Resort, City Wind Books is connected by a skybridge to the Kaohsiung Main Public Library—blending reading seamlessly into both travel and everyday life.

Within the bookstore, City Wind Café offers a warm and tranquil corner for rest and reflection.

Since 2022, City Wind Books has focused on art, culture, and travel, guided by the themes of dreaming, wandering, and reading. We curate a selection of local brands and host programs such as Wind Talks, Wind Workshops, and Wind Curations—creating an immersive and participatory reading experience.
